Our Story

After being displaced by the Mountain Fire, our family of four was searching for grounding, somewhere to breathe, reconnect, and feel normal again. We found it in an unexpected place: an open art studio.
We walked in stressed, unsure, and still in shock. Our family of four had very different reactions. The naturally artistic ones dove in immediately. The rest of us took a while to warm up.
But soon, something shifted.
Surrounded by every kind of art medium, with no rules and no pressure to “be good,” we relaxed.
We experimented. We created. We healed.
Each of us made something completely different, but the true art was what we built together, a sense of calm, connection, and joy.
We stopped thinking and started playing.
We stopped holding stress in our bodies.
We made things that surprised us.
We connected in a way we didn’t even know we needed.
We walked out lighter.
More ourselves.
More together.
From that moment, we knew: Our community needed this. Not just a fun activity, but a place of possibility.
So we created it.
A space that welcomes every age, every ability, every story.
A place to come as you are, stay as long as you need, and leave feeling better than when you walked in.
Not a paint studio. Not a class you take once. But a creative home base.
Where creativity is allowed to be messy, healing, quiet, playful, or whatever you need it to be. A space to create, connect, and belong.
A space to:
- create without pressure
- explore different forms of art
- relax or energize
- process emotions
- connect with family or friends
- try something new
- show up alone and still feel welcome
A space that is modern, flexible, and clean, but full of warmth, color, and life.
A place where:
- a child can finger paint
- a teen can sketch quietly
- a parent can work on a passion project
- a working adult can do art instead of sitting in a café
- a night owl can find inspiration at 8 PM
- someone going through something hard can make something beautiful
- someone with no art experience can discover they do have creativity
People may walk in looking for something to do.
They’ll come back because they found something they didn’t know they were missing.
Creativity.
Peace.
Community.
Inspiration.
Or maybe just space to breathe.
This is not a one-time outing.
This is a place where you belong.
